my parents went out of town.. which means they won't be with me when my birthday comes.. oh well.. they need this holiday themselves.. haha and i don't wanna bother their trip.. besides.. i'm having exams please..

sometimes i do ponder back at those days... when bro wilson was still around... sounds weird.. but i do miss him.. he left unsaid.. along with many others..

much can still be done for other less fortunate people... sometimes i just don't know how.. sometimes i use the B word... sometimes i feel helpless myself...

i do at times wonder why i got my first 4 demerit points within a month.. i'm probably the fastest on the record...

they say that the diff between driving fuel-conciously and F1 inspired ones in terms of reaching a destination is a couple of minutes... nothing wrong with having fuel in mind, just that i wonder how many mutiples of couple of minutes will be gone if u tried the first method with f1 racers at your back... which leads me to another point...

not so far from the future, i believe, the TP might instigate new laws, including the 'keep right unless overtaking' law... won't it be good... car drivers who already wants to go slow at those right lanes can continues doing so.. then those exiting can then move to the left lanes... safer...

ha i was reading my bible when i read this scripture... now i don't really understand the bible very well i must say.. a big portion still remains uncovered... i'm quite stupid.. yeah i know.. but when i read this part of God's word... i instantly knew what it meant.. it's almost as if God's telling me personally.. check this out.. it's in exodus during Israel's big move ot of Egypt...

MY WHEEL lol

oh well... i was driving on the bukit timah expressway when suddenly there's a wooden plank on my lane.. i couldn't evade it on time... managed to get it to hit only my left wheels... as a result my wheel got out of shape... and my cover fell off and is somewhere in BKE... haaa

so i went on to BKE and got my wheel out of shape and thankfully my tyre didn't puncture...i should like feature this on a bridgestone tyres advertisment.. yeah bridgestone tyres are good.. end of story.. oh and now my dad have to change the wheel... haa.. starting to feel like a liability..

church camp

wha haha church camp is great!! the sessions are good.. haha the second one would be better i guess.. considering the number of youths that went.. haha i heard daniel and gerald went there only to wrestle during their free time... until pastor jeremy came and delievered them out of their wrestling desires... seriously..

alrite.. moving on... i guess i can summarise church camp into a few words... refreshing... hmm pastor Jack is great.. considering that his dad just went back to the Lord.. and him being here with us instead was a great sacrifice... maybe he felt compelled.. but then again he'd have showed that motivation in his sermons... never... pastor luke barnett is a great speaker too... haha i really appreciate him haha... i'd never forget one of his sermon... just that i forgot the name of it.. hahaha... oh well...

my first ever church camp... great... be going there often now.. haha.. next year if i can... CAN!! haha can...

alrite.. it's also about eating too.. the food there man... haha i literally spend everything on food alone.. all my ringgits... haha and i probably used up all the eating adjectives, noun, verbs, any words involving makan combined... oh well.. so much for food... it's cheap too! dollar for ringgit... what's more i still have the buffet breakfast lunch and dinner back at the hotel.. so i was like... eat eat eat eat eat eat eat eat eat.. yeat.. lol... oh well ok now i have to work out... drats that's the hard part... hmmm actually the hard part is eating... a lot of work done already on eating... haaa

daddy Tan got a couch for babe kangoo early this week... haha so... and i kinda dressed up the couch so... and added carpet into babe kangoo goods cabin so.... haaa... been fetching ppl here and there for now... wha haha one of this days... i'm gonna secretly install a meter fare... haha singapore first kangoo taxi.. hmmmm let's call it KANGeeeerrrrOO!! haha kangeroo good what.. fast.. got pouch somemore esther foong is gonna like it ho es? just pretend my couch as a pouch.. rite...

HAHAHA a car-van!! heh heh... Renault D65 Kangoo...

haha man it's cool... it's like a normal car, except its pick-up, which i don't really care( drats my dad must have chose this instead of a car since i got my speeding ticket within barely one month)... diesel engine so it's like fuel-saving... and diesel's cheap wha haha full tank 38 bucks... and the price is only barely 12k... it's five years old now.. and i still have 10 years of COE!! haha cos the owner renewed it when the COE renewal went down to just 1 bucks.. sorry buck... how cheap... ahha THANK GOD! woots! heh... good mint condition.. barely had to change anything haa... it came within 3 days last wed... i've used only 20 bucks of fuel HA!

and what's more.... today... haaa my dad went to install a brand new stereo system!! HO HO HO HO it's haha wonderful!

OK making my first ever mother's day post...not so much about mother's day though.. but nevertheless.. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! you guys.. sorry ladies.. are a miracle for struggling kids like mee..

i realise i've been rather slumpy this period of time.. lazy.. tired.. but there's still so much work to do..

i didn't really start my semester decently.. this are my modules:

MEPCAD- Mechanical Engineering Practice and computer aided drawing.
MAMS- Mechanical aspects of mechatronic system
MDES-Mechanical design
MEM-modern engineering materials
DEL-digital electronics
ROCK-History of rock and roll
BAE-Business and the economy

so.. i've realised that teachers in this sem are rather.. independence-inducing... if there's such a word... some are just arggghhh... rahhh.. but well haa the onus is still on me... haaaa...take mr Thi Han is one of my lecturer... many of us find that he's boring... nothing much... but i think he's only plain.. simple.. and if i look deeper, i'd be able to see lots and lots of interesting stuff.. his way of imagining a mechatronic system(yes he's my MAMS cher) and i'll start to see the things he couldn't explain out verbally... then we have some who.. well.. haa don't know how to say.. great sedative voices... ahha...

so much for schooling..

safety first..

that's where my dad's 1.6K went to.. for my driving liscense haaa..

i've been driving here and there now for 2 weeks... so i'm pretty much in 'tune' with the normal road users habit... does that means i can forgo safety? haha nope..

i have to explain first of all... my dad will be the man who will hold onto my handbrakes when i start driving... haaa man it's quite irritating when we reached a jam or hold-up... yeah my dad's quite an impatient guy... so i thought.. maybe i should try driving the way he drives.. let him have a feel of how i feel when he's driving... which is very very fast.. but he's skilled la i'm not.. so...

the result is very enlightening... my dad shares the same sentimentality with me haa!! but while driving like this i almost had an accident.. so i was going down from timah.. then i notice this vios driver driving pretty slow... i think he's either not qualified to drive or he's just a starter... but i'm not going to assume... let's just say he(or she) wasn't so careful at that moment.. what happened was he overtook a bus and went onto the right lane, the lane i was in... then he drove pretty slow... and i was about to turn left then, so i moved to the left and hurried off while he remained on the right lane.. when i was almost next to him, he then signalled left and moved left, where my car was(didn't check blindspot). i was like ?!???!.. jam braked... biang.. my dad flew off the seat.. cos well, he never puts on seatbelts.. while i was rather concern with my dad, i thought.. i almost had an accident.. actually before that i kinda have a vision that that vios was about to move to the left.. and something's not right with the driver... whatever it is.. i shouldn't have went ahead to meet up with that vios.. but because of that vision when that vios conveniently switches it's lane i was prepared to stop... thank God... it was His vision..

i thought to myself.. haha pap, now let's see if u still wanna complain that i drive slowly.. then i thought again.. no from now onwards i'm going to put safety first no matter what.. fast or slow i'm going to follow safety and be aware and conscious of it.. no one can change that unless they wanna take over my seat.. i'm not going to bother whether my dad nags at me anymore.. no more personal agenda... driving is a pleasure.. let me enjoy it haaaa

ahhh my Longed for weekend... after this week of haa how should i put it? hell? haha no la cannot be... hell's much worse than this... anyways i had two 8-5 and one 9-5 days of lessons this week.. haa well if God hadn't intercede and put a tues labour day break this week.. i guess i'd be stuck in this week... application hang... computer terms... ok for the first time.. i admit i'm a bit random..

I've been bad too la.. playing computer games ENDLESSLY.. hahaha... and not concentrating on studies a lil more.. oh well.. at least i'm done with cnc3... woots completed.. finally la.. not that i'm lousy but the game keeps crashing on my com hahaha.. so can u imagine how tired i am playing the same old missions all over again? oh well...

i've realised that i can't really speak normally now... now that i'm being trained more deeply into engineering.. i'm trapped inside engineering terms.. AHH HELP!! haa but i enjoy it la.. engineering.. guess what i'm learning now... i'm learning stress and strain.. haha it feels like i'm learning the psychological part of it.. haha but no i'm actually learning about the principles of stresses and strain on an object... but whenever i listen to the lecturer speaking i can't help but think of me being that object.. so much for engineering haa...

i think at the end of this week.. i can say that i'm tired but quite happy... haaa met up with my friends a lot this week.. and spent a lot as well haha... gosh...

HAAAA 2 and a half weeks of school days gone... i haven really got things started for most of my modules... really have to put in the effort haha... honestly speaking... i kinda miss last semester.. all the lecturers, all the lectures haha and my TIMETABLE!! geeee....

anyways haha i have, according to my aunt hehe reached a milestone... yup mark it 26 april 2007 thursday... Jason Tan ah tan beat the odds to successfully obtain a driving license!! But glory to God hahaha... heh heh.. boy i forgot to release handbrake and even strike kurb cos kan chiong... same tester that failed me hahah... he remembered me la... but because he remembered me he know that i can do better.. so it's actually a blessing in disguise haa.. dispite all the mistakes i still passed so thank God... haaa now i'm going to use it for a greater cause likeee... emmmmm... drive? yeah tombang friends haha... woots haha..

FAMILY DAY on 28 april 2007 Saturday... mark that down too i think i made history too.. i mean we... we meaning Elvin, Esther Tan, Esther Foong, Eric Tan, Caleb Seah, Me.. haha we did the 6 ppl slide on one raft.. hahaha i tell you the crew couldn't push our raft out... and when it did it made a huge farting sound cos it hit the bottom of the slide when it's suppose to float.. well the history is that we are probably the fastest ever to go from top to bottom... i thought it was a rocket la.. haha the camera missed us for the picture a few times lol... for once i'm proud we are fat... emm ok i'm probably just heavy.. but yeahhh... i like fats.. we're too fat but still furious.... woots..

talking about fats reminded me about 200 pounds beauty which is a very very good show to watch... it touched me haaa... MARRIIIAAAAAA!! AVE MARIA woots... haha thank God for fats...

Whoa school starting... seems like a great holiday... mind you i'm not regretting it.. in fact.. i think i enjoyed it.. really got it working.. refreshing... true enough God had been graceful and merciful towards me in this holidays..

As i read this verse i thought.. why summer?.. why hour of opportunity?.. what significance does these words brings? why specifically youths? It was then that i realise it meant the holidays.. summer means holidays.. hour of opportunity, that's the real meaning behind holidays.. thank you Lord.. for being with me all this while, patiently transforming my heart, making it burn for you, and even though everything i did was meant to gorify you, all you ever thought of was to watch me grow.. to the person you want me to be.. thank you..

this week is haha.. well great? hmm we had the youth activity which haha we won in captain's ball woots! reg F.. though i contributed.. it's all of us that won the competition.. as one family =) ... i was pretty badly hurt in the soccer argh never ever play soccer in a field without boots.. but i enjoyed it anyways.. it's ok reg Ds =).. i was playing like we were one church.. afterall we are one church, not different regions.. that's 2 different thinking in all.. ermm i wanna thank jason oon and elvin foong for the wonderful worship too at edge haha you guys rock man! we should have that acoustic worship often it sounds very.. simple... yet able to touch me deeply.. that's all worship is about.. i think haaa..

ok back track to fri i had a great net meeting!! ahhhh great meaning big, and fantastic time together! it's elvin's birthday! haha we kinda suprised him hahaha.. heyy and i think we touched him woooo hehe.. I'm starting to understand more about suprise now haha.. and i lead worship too! haha i guess it was better this time.. yeah i wanna try to lead worship more often.. i wanna worship.. not just songs..

ok so to sunday.. i almost couldn't drag my body out of bed in the morning.. sore all over.. but i got up with the help of God.. yup just thinking of Him.. think think think until suddenly realise i'm brushing my teeth.. funny rite? i had a full day too.. lessons are great i think they are good.. and funny( jon, eden and wei siang don't u agree? hahaha) i didn't get to play with ashton hahaha hehe waaaaa he was very tired after the ordeal he went through.. poor thing terribly sick with a viral fever.. haa sayang sayang.. the family also went through a lot this week.. 2 kids sick.. salute bro stanley and sis regina! you guys are great parents! haha! hope to learn more from you guys in... ermmm...... say... 10 years from now? maybe la huhh... haha let's not think too much... ehhh i'm the one thinking too much... ok let me not think too much... aiyaaa....

soooo anyways i played with baby RAY instead... don't the name sound cool? RAY.. cool.. he's gonna be the next darryl ong mann haha jumping all around the sanctuary following the rythm of sis jidi's drumming... haha... then i had nursery haha so now i'm filled with all the baby annointings.. a lot of them are sick so i guess most of the annointing consist of viruses and germs.. cool...
